• Support of the crossborder partnership and interdependence on the base of a joint program strategy for promotion of the Thracian cultural heritage in the cross-border region.

The necessities for preservation and promotion of Thracian monuments have been identified by both countries - Bulgaria and Turkey in their priorities for development. The small number of developed partnerships on cross-regional level turn out to be obstacles for greater and more actions in respect of promotion of the region as a centre of Thracian culture.  In order to help promotion of Thracian cultural resources as well as their usage to improve the quality and standard of life in the region, adequate partnerships between both countries should be created. Effective actions should be undertaken in the region as a whole. Thus, the project will support not only the preservation and promotion of Thracian cultural monuments, but also the entire development of the region.
The target groups are:
• The population in the crossborder area;
• Other municipalities, which shall use the good practices of this project
